Our Mission
HCG | Commercial Real Estate seeks to acquire retail, office, industrial and other commercial properties in all types of markets with the potential for an increase in cash flow and residual value. As a privately-owned company, we have the ability to respond quickly to new opportunities to facilitate our goal of increasing the size and quality of our real estate portfolio. HCG is experienced and well capitalized allowing us to acquire properties with short timelines and minimal purchase contingencies, differentiating us from other buyers in the field. We are guided by the principles of integrity and professionalism for every point of contact in our professional relationships.
We focus on acquiring:

Value-add properties where repositioning and/or leasing-up would yield some unrealized value.

Byron Hakimi, Founder and Principal of HCG, has over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate. Byron founded HCG in 2014 and has been actively involved in all aspects of formulating and executing the strategic plans of HCG. Byron also oversees the day to day operations with a focus on optimizing the company’s portfolio performance, monitoring the profitability of the business, and overseeing all acquisition and disposition activities.
Prior to forming HCG, Byron practiced law specializing in all aspects of Commercial Real Estate Transactions.
Byron is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) as well as the State Bar of New York.
Ben acts as in house counsel for Hakimi Capital.
